Since Yell is a general business directory, listing over 2.9 million businesses across the UK, you need to specify that you're looking for driving instructors before entering the location that you're looking for instructors.
You can filter results based on distance and rating as well as some categories, like Pass Plus. There's no way to see or filter on availability or gender, so you'll need to work those ones out on your own, unfortunately.
Once you find an instructor you like, you can email, call or visit their own website, which may provide more information about the instructor.

When i was finally contacted the person i spoke to was very helpful. It was a shame it took them over a week to contact me after telling me it would be between 24-48 hours, even after chasing them up.

About reviewing traders on yell. I recently encountered a very bad experience with a trader who pays yell for advertising and guess what, yes my review, that only outlined my bad experience with that trader, was removed granting that man to carry on extorting money from the elderly.
